Mun fuel depot

Guys, what's the most efficient way to install a fuel depot on the Mun and keep it filled without too much docking and still be able to refuel many crafts from there?

Edit: the fuel depot should be in orbit.

Currently if you are wanting to do an orbital fuel depot without docking, your only option is to use a mod. In stock game mechanics, the only way to transfer fuel is to dock.

KAS is really the way to go here. Then put a station into Kerbin Orbit. Ferry fuel from the ground to the Kerbin Station, then make a mun-kerbin tanker that never lands.

Get Kethane mod.

Make fuel on Mun.

Launch the whole contraption into orbit.

Use KAS for fuel transfer

If you want to make things easier, weight wise, there is a mod that gives emptied variants to the fuel tanks. Pair that up with Kethane and KAS or the Quantum Fuel Transfer mod and you should be good to go!
