Trip to the Mun's South Pole

Here is a Kerbal team after investigating another UFO crash on the Mun. After collecting samples of some Lego looking blocks that assemble themselves into what looks like a toy spider about 35cm long... They thought they would check out one other site and cross the south pole before heading back to Kerbin.

UFO found and investigated. Lego samples stored for further study back at Kerbin.

The place definately looks alien to me.

Well, after analyzing the UFO's computer data and flight charts it looks like they were looking for something. So our engineering officer kindof sortof figured out in a round about way that they were trying to get to some southern place on the Mun. After heading out and searching about for about 6 hours, a faint hum was detected in some hole and was investigated. Not much was learned but when Newlin Kerman touched it (agaist the others recommending him not do that), he started talking in some weird language and yabbering about "the answer to life, the universe, and everything." Like anyone would be interested in that sort of stuff?!?... We asked him about some important stuff like what the optimum temparature for baking muffins would be, but he had no useful answers. Like I said in my report. No useful information gained here.

P.S. we did get a photo though...
