They were pointed inwards, but for the sake of reducing the part count, I had to change it to being straight.

Do you use Editor Extensions? If you don't, YOU HAVE TO.

Even for stock, it opens so many possibilities that you won't believe it.

If you already do, just press Alt+R and attach them radially to the top of the rocket.

I couldn't get skylon to work but I built the X-33 instead:

It has some aerodynamic issues during re-entry, though.

I sent the payload to the Mun, but it ran out of charge. Perhaps add OX-STAT to it and the craft will function on long trips. Also, it nearly made my ears bleed.

Good craft, could possibly use a bit of refining?
