Rescue ship help?

Recommended Posts

Hey there,

I'm afraid it's not a space plane per se but the Sherpa Utility VTOL/Drop Ship was designed with search and rescue in mind, and is quite happy to haul a hitchhiker storage container (an adapted version of which in included with the files).

However the Sherpa is designed to operate best on Kerbin, if you need to rescue Kerbals from say the Mun or Minmus then you'd be better off going with the Cavalier, an orbital drop ship that is designed to operate in space. With the Cavalier you'll have to attach your own hitchhiker pod & docking port. I also recommend adding RCS and parachutes to de-orbit and land the hitchhiker container back on Kerbin rather then take it down from orbit with the Cavalier (will not end well). Good luck...

Cupcake...

Please can someone help me make a spaceplane that is capable of rescuing? So include the PPD-10 Hitchhiker Storage Container. Include pics, instructions or a download link please!

Thanks!
