The folder structure changed since the last update, you now need to extract the mod's folders into GameData.

For example: Kethane contains a folder called "GameData" in it's ZIP, in there is a folder called "Kethane". You just need to put the second one in GameData and you have your mod installed.

You don't even need to go to the miniscule trouble of opening those folders any more.

Literally just copy everything into your KSP main folder. And the files distribute themselves into the places they need to be on their own.
