How do I upload a craft file?

Recommended Posts

You can either make a Dropbox or Mediafire account, upload them there and then give a download link, or upload them on the Spaceport and give the Spaceport link.

However the Spaceport is having some issues, chances your craft won't get uploaded correctly, one workaround that works more often is to first set your upload as "private" with the checkbox then making it public after upload. But I recommend Mediafire until it gets fixed.

Upload your craft file to Mediafire, which will then give you a link to that file that you can post in the forum for others to download.

Where do I find the craft file to upload?

EDIT: Ok I got it, but how do I set it up so other people can download it?

Basically, the craft file will be in your KSP folder under (KSP root folder)/saves/(your save's name)/VAB(or SPH)/.craft file

Then you can either zip the file or not, it will reduce the download size. Then you just open your Mediafire account, and drag the .zip/.craft file on the page. It should then upload it and show it on your uploads page. Right click it and select "copy link", which will copy a download link to your upload. Then just go on the forums, click the link icon on the top of the reply editor, and press ctrl+v to paste the download link there. When you post your reply there will be a link to your download :)
