Does game booster work very well for KSP?

I use gamebooster and don't notice any profarmace boost, but the one nice thing about it especially for steam users is that, when "offline mode" dosen't work when you are offline you can still play KSP!

Your computer probably has more than what KSP can use at it's maximum, that might be why you don't notice anything.

Adobe Acrobat Update Service (pointless socket opening junk)

Adobe Photoshop elelemts 10 (either an update service, or a speed loader... again junk)

AMD Client Monitor (why do you need another monitoring service? Either it works, or it doesn't and you enable it to debug.)

Avast (you know my answer)

BingBar (seriously?)

BlueTooth (if you aren't using it at this very moment).

Bonjour Service (Apple Junk that does nothing)

Catalyst Control Center: Monitoring (Why do you need monitoring services if your system is WORKING?)

cyberlink medialibray (Again, Active services that do very little)

Dropbox (If you aren't using it... don't load it)

GoogleToolbar (Toolbars....)

Hamachi Client Application (Remote Access... if you aren't using it... don't load it!)

*** If it can be removed, it should. That is how you optimize! ***

No programs yet and I busted your 14 because windows 8 none sense.

No, I only have 14 processes at boot... NOT programs. I have 10 services running... so 24 services + processes at boot. (Actually, that isn't entirely fair, I know that several of those services are directly linked to a particular background process... but I'll play your game)

You have a poorly optimized system... which is what I indicated above.

And my base ram isn't 5Gb good lord, KSP was running in the Background cause I was playing earlier and I forgot to turn it off. Game Booster turned it off by the way, that's where the big decrease came from.

Which is EXACTLY what I told you had happened -__-;

ROFL, poorly optimized? Are you joking? This isn't windows 98 we are talking about here. This is 2013. Back in the day the processes could hurt a computers performance even while not gaming, but in thsi day in age .. it really doesn't matter. Those services are better on then off if your computer can handle it.

The whole point of loading those services is so they start faster when you need them. It's not poorly optimized .. that is called preference.

I used to hate virus protection because it ate so much resources but computers now are so fast it is hardly noticeable. I think you are stuck in the past or something.

1)I would say the limitation is the fact that it is a 2.3 ghz cpu. KSP only runs on one core, bla, bla, bla we hear it 1000 times.

2)The GPU on the A10 is overkill for anything ksp can throw at it.

3) Your OS is windows 7 home premium, lower end OS's are only on netbooks(the super small laptops) and the higher end OS's are only on Workstations

4) Game booster is always gonna be case by case basis, It will depend on the bottlekneck and the amount it bottleknecks. feel free to try it.

The GPU is overkill? Huh, I would of thought with the lag that terrain gen gives me, it wasn't great. Thanks for the insight. I did notice that changing graphical settings really did nothing to improve or worsen the gameplay except for the lighting and shadows.

Woah calm down there.

Let's get it through.

Adobe acrobat update service: as I said, I keep update services open when I can because I do my updates as soon as I can. It's not a big resource eater as far as I know.

Photoshop elements: update indeed, see previous statement.

AMD client monitor: works with my crossfire double video card to keep track of what resources needs to be assigned where.

Avast: I use it pretty often, and I actually need it. You can prefer turning it off, I don't. Bad experience with an unexpected virus.

Bingbar: accidently opened explorer after startup, it then proceed to load it too, I don't have it on Chrome and it's not used normally. Still not a big permformance eater. It's just there cause it "was" used.

Bluetooth: I was actually, I always connect my phone on my laptop when I have both with me, so I leav it connected when I play, I don't need to justifiy my reasons on this.

Bonjour: I don't think you know what Bonjour actually does. It's actually dangerous to not run it, it directly controls entering and exiting connections to your PC. Plus it keeps track of my wireless printer. I keep it on.

Catalyst control center: video card again, manages integrated memory.

Dropbox: I use it.

Google toolbar: same as bing toolbar.

Hamachi: I use it quite often so I just let it load on startup. I set down LAN servers on Minecraft with it and if the server isn't up well it doesn't really use resources.

Like I said, what is there is there knowingly.

I know what is running on my computer and it is running because I decided to. And really with the computer I have it's really far from being a handicap.

As for the ram and KSP, I know you said it, but you're saying this like I don't know it? Of course I do. You also said that having "4Gb of ram as a basis isn't normal", well I don't.

My system isn't poorly optimized, it's set to my personal preferences and it's none of your business to tell me that I shouldn't let a background program that I commonly use run. With the system I have I really don't need to go scrape up 100Mb of ram and 2% of my CPU, and when I do, I load Game booster and it gives me what I need. That's all.

Just don't even bother. Obviously he has an older and/or less powerful system than you and thinks that what applies to him applies to everyone.
