Yeah, quite a few of us have made am F-35, the default C7 parts kind of resemble them when put together.

Here\'s mine, the K-35 Kerbal Strike Fighter (II) - It made your speed/altitude requirements with a powerclimb, no problem

Also whipped up a new one, an F-14(ish) plane - we can\'t approach it too well without some intakes and different hull pieces, and moveable wings, but you get the idea...

What are you trying to make? a 1950\'s Bi- plane?

If you use are using the mod packs, the ksp version should be able to make it, unless its extremely heavy or sumthing.

I made my own version of the X-15, it cant go 2030 m/s in 30km ,only aprox. 540m/s or somthing.

If you are making your 1950\'s bi plane in ksp, you would be incorrect already, 1950\'s bi planes dont HAVE rocket engines!!!! (err.. 'turbofan' or w/e C7\'s engine is.)

This is just a fun challange to see if you can make a close represenation of a flying thing, while i secretly copy your designs and use them for my own 'Jebidiah' purposes.

You know, 230 m/s is 828 km/h, that\'s quite a lot. There are lots of planes that can\'t reach speeds like that.

Not only that, but most aircraft will achieve some sort of lift at a hundred or less km/h. So at the moment the wings are all a little underpowered.
