6277 People on Steam at once

With the release of Kerbal on Steam a few months ago, to the recent sale this weekend, I have been monitoring the number of Steam players online at one time.

I usually would see appr. 2500-3000 players at one time on the community hub, but was taken aback at 6277!

I know it's no Skyrim yet, but I'm glad to see that it's moving along in the right direction. Hopefully it will be a few orders of magnitude larger a year from now!

Just thought y'all would be interested in this awesome number.

6277? KSP grown quite a bit on the community!

But i wonder how many have bought KSP and are still playing? I think its some kind of a secret in Squad waiting to be revealed.

There was a steam sale for kerbal, that probably explains the big jump in numbers, lets hope the new guys and gals become as enamoured of the game as we have.

Just looked on Steam best seller list..

KSP is in third spot. PA is forth. Skyrim is 6th.

I hope it does go big.

I feel that it could inspire the future generations as to space travel, and maybe, a few decades down the road, we will finally put as much effort into space travel as we once did.

Plus it would help Squad out so much, and I would love to see what projects they decide to work on in the future.

Watch out Bethesda and Activision, there's a new game dev company in town, and this one is the most passionate as of yet!

I for one picked up a few copies during the sale to give to others. I have one left and am not sure who I'll give it to.
