I have seen some people build some pretty cool stuff, like star destroyers

I tried it, honestly It was kinda boring.

1: How do you get thrusters? I don't see em in the store

2: How do you fire missiles?

3: How did Yogscast spawn on a planet?

4: Is there a way to go fast enough to reach a planet in decent amount of time?

1: They are kinda orange and is something with hypercoils, if they are not there go to another shop.

2: You gotta assign them to a key. Press T to show weapons when you are in your ship, you should see something thats called cannon or something, click on that and then click on a number.

3 They probally did not for video purposes or they used a earlier version.

4: You can set the speed faster than that in a cfg but then physics might go bonkers considering it is early alpha game.

Once you watched some instructional videos and watched other peoples constructions it becomes quite fun. Made a huge harvester capable of demolishing planets in minutes.

Also, N shows the Navigation menu where you can scroll through for locations and purple is shops.

I haven't played this in ages, I started with one of the earlier releases. Sounds like a lot of the really interesting and long overdue features are finally going in.

I played this today and after a couple of of minutes of tense chase action my canon computer got shot out and then i sorta did an emergency landing on a nearby planet and found my ship to be pretty shot up.

how do you use cockpit view? i have linked an sd cockpit to my ship core, but it still uses the core as my camera point, which is worthless, as it is encased in several layers of armor.

I did take the tutorial, but I never found the hypercoil thruster in-store, only after spawn.
