Can't place control surfaces properly

I can't seem to get control surfaces to build correctly. This affects both Standard and Small Control Surfaces. Whenever I try to put them on a wing, they end up at weird angles, usually perpendicular to how I want or how they might actually work.

I can't even get them to build correctly on the stock planes. I can load an Aeris 3A (stock) click on the Standard Control Surfaces to move them but they'll never go back on the wing the way they were before.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Yes. Everyone experiences that, you can rotate any part you want using the qweasd keys.

Is there a FAQ for things like this? I did try to search the forums but I didn't find anything.

Also, holding down shift while tapping the qweasd keys will rotate the part in more precise 5 deg increments (rather than 90 deg per tap).

sounds like a problem my friend was having, maybe we need a little tutorial on how to place wings and control surfaces
