Sticky docking port

So my mission to Jool is progressing well, Phase One almost complete.

There is just one satellite missing around Pol. But my tugs don't have enough UMPH to get there and back.

So I thought, no problem. I just transport a tug and a satellite to the Phase Two Mission around Bop (enough UMPH for that, just barely), their next stop is Pol anyway. So far so good.

So I dock the tug with satellite to the cruiser around Bop (crazy spinnig there, by the way) and want to undock the tug to place it in a more convenient position on the cruiser.

But that )(&%§(=" docking port won't undock!

Right click, click "undock".... nothing happens.

There is enough power and control, so I don't see why this does not work.

I can undock the satellite from the cruiser again, so I tried that and redock. No luck. The docking ports between the satellite and the tug seem to be in love with each other and won't let go.

Any suggestion?

(Hm... I could try to undock from the cruiser and try to undock the satellite then. The redock and try again.... Will do that)

This is a known bug where "Undock" will not do anything. Here is a fix for it.

Ah. very interesting.

My "just try untill it works" method worked as well:

Undock satellite and tug from cruiser.

Undock tug from satellite (which worked after undocking)

Move a bit away, redock to satellite.

Redock to cruiser.

Undock tug (which worked this time).

Dock tug to convenient position.
