Hey people,

again i have a very large design I want to share.

Mjoelnir Typ III Torpedo Battleship:

This little beauty weights fully fueled about 480 tons and was shipped to a stable 140km orbit in one piece.

With the stage it is about 1680 parts large and, as always, sadly brings down the fps to 1 cause of 4x9 Mainsails. ;)

It took me about 1 hour to get it into orbit.

It is currently armed with 12 forward torpedos but with some optimization it can be extended to about 24 torpedos which fire quite accurately and can be rearmed through inside docking ports.

It is powered by 2 Mainsail engines for a quick boost and 15 atomic engines for constant acceleration.

For its size it is quite manouverable because of a large amount of RCS thrusters and a huge amount of RCS-fuel. ;)

I call it Mjoelnir cause it looks a bit like a hammer if you look down from above because of the engine section.

This ship is the pride of my fleet so far. ;)

That is a pretty nice idea, really. The only issue against using it as a fighter hangar is that i wont be able to use a fighter in 2.5 kilometer distance on this, cause of the fps drops. ;)

But I will consider it, thx.
