Remember the Atlas Space Station...

Has been on orbit for 1y 321d, construction started in 0.18.1, stopped when SAS wobbling problem becoming severe.

83×82km around Kerbin, 65.64 ton.

Rest in peace, we will build a larger one in 0.21 with a better SAS!

You can probably edit the persistence file to add your space station if you wanted to. Also please don't double post, just edit what you want to add into your original post, and also, this probably wasn't a necessary thread, there are a few just like it.

Sad Derpy... That's... That's my weakness.

No but seriously, you guys are more sad that you're losing your saves than you are happy there's a new update.

That's in keosynchronous orbit, eh? In the new version, you should edit it back in place, then have a sister station, Luna, on the opposite side of the planet.

Sacrifices in the name of progress my dear lads and lass'!

I'll be glad knowing I lost my save to bettering the game, which inevitably results in better saves!

I only hope I can still keep my ships, I can always relaunch, but redesigning is going to hurt.....

I'll gladly weep for others' saves. I for one couldn't care. Saves never last longer than a month with me. Once things get to cluttered and I'm past a certain phase (building stations, dragsters, etc.) I often just delete them. My designs are usually not too complex, so if I need them in my other saves I generally recreate them within minutes from memory.

Everything in the Kerbal universe is ephemeral and temporary.

Eventually it all gets blown up. You ether do it on purpose, by accident or the physics engine blows it up for you.

The only thing that last forever is the endless supply of Kerbals coming from the cloning tanks.

I would probably lose my most successful save I have. Doesn't matter since I really hate the wobbly SAS with RCS.

After all guys, since SQUAD knows that the new update will break saves, now they're going to do things that would normally break saves and put it in the update :)

Well, I suppose I'll miss my illogical number of satellites all in equatorial orbit, but I am certainly looking forward to this next update (they are deciding to add some really cool new features in exchange for a month more development time, right?). I'll finish the stations I am building now, then begin a very elaborate de-construction process where I deorbit EVERYTHING! I would like to attempt a respectable Munbase, though.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
