Rovers with lander

Hi!

I've kind of run into a slight roadblock on my quest to take over the universe peacefully colonize space.

I'm trying to figure out a way SAFELY bring a rover w/ manned lander to a planet (or Mun).

My current situation involves a rather awkward contraption with massive arms with attached rovers jutting off the center lander with legs and an unacceptable amount of struts. I've seen methods of attaching rovers to the side of the landers, but I cannot figure out how to do that.
