Attaching rover to rocket

Hi!

I built a sweet little worker rover for my planned mun base.

But i am having troubles actually getting it there.

The problem does not lie with me actually piloting a rocket there, but how i would be able to attach my rover ( built in the spaceplane hangar ) to said rocket.

I have a docking port for towing extensions around, but i don't think that it would hold from the stress during takeoff, and i don't really get how i would be able to lift it to the top of my rocket.

( my testing with this approach burned way to much fuel, and the maneuver where pretty hard, resulting in lots of crashes )

Just adding the rover as a part during rocket construction would be best, but i don't seem to find any import features.

If by "import features" you mean "combine two ships in the VAB" this can't be done in vanilla KSP. The subassembly mod might be what you are looking for.
