Safe (average) speed for rovers?

This is one of my fastest rovers;

On Mun it will happily and very safely cruise at 40m/s (and I can still steer enough to dodge rocks), flat out on level ground it will get up to 60m/s but then a tyre goes. 40, is reliable, 50-55 I have to really pay attention!

I drive in docking mode and it has the avionics ASAS unit on it. It has 2 RCS thrusters as boosters so it accelerates pretty quickly and a single forward facing thruster to help braking. There are also two thrusters facing up that are used to push it down (in docking mode ctrl activates these), really helps when going over uneven terrain and turning at speed. It's surprisingly strong too, I've survived a lot of crashes in it, so long as I can get it's wheels to hit the ground first I just blow the tyres. It's downside is that because it uses DamnedRobotics, turning it over at any speed is fatal for the drivers, they just go limp in the chairs and I can't get them out.

But DR does enable it to fold up very compactly, this is it stored on the side of my Apollo lander
