How to revive the <<kerbal three>>(bob,bill and jebediah)?

Is there a way to "revive"any of the original astronaut after a crash?

In example,if you crash with jebediah and he die in the crash,is there a way to revive him or is he perma-dead?

Thank you,after I killed bill I was worried that once Jebediah is dead,I couldn't send him on any mission.

I was thinking that I would have to send him on low-risk mission only.

There was a youtube vid of the career guy who ended up with two jebs. He launched one, a couple flights later launched another rocket. He tried to transfer jeb into the ship jeb was in and they killed each other??

Point is, you'll probably see them again.

To bring them back, go to the end (beginning if Pre-.21) of your persistence file and change their states to "0".

I have done that and it doesn't work.

Is changing the state to "0" just made them avaible to be applicant or it make them become applicant?

How can I edit the applicant list?

I have tried to put bill in the list in the persitence file but each time I was going in the hiring complex,Bill got changed to another astronaut

Presumably, they had a brief deathmatch in the capsule, to determine who was the real Jeb.

find the dead man's name and then

change the line "state=3" (which means dead)

to "state =0"
