Hi, I'm new to this awesome game simulator and I want to suggest some things.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

first of all - thank you for making this simulator. It caught me exactly at the time I re-started to think about space and dream about getting there.

I'm 5 hours into this game, and I LOVE it.

I got some suggestions.

1. I'm sure you know about this, but I'll write it to be sure - when you time accelerate when a parachute should open, it won't open.

2. please, make it that when you scroll with the mouse all the world is zommed and not just the ships.

Thanks, if I'll recall some other suggestions I'll post them here.

Please let me know if you do something about the things I wrote up there.

Your simulator is great, thank you,

Or.

Heh, that's just the realities of scale. :) Your ship is tiny compared to the planet. So when you zoom out, your ship will become a speck on the screen long before you see any movement of the planet. Welcome to space! First thing to know about it: space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space. And so on. ^_^

For the first one, the parachute does open unlike what you think. The thing is, physical time warp makes thing unstable, you even get a warning once you go pas 2x. And when you open parachutes at that warp speed, they tend to rip off pronto. So that's where your problem comes from. Just unwarp before the parachute opens and you'll be fine. And for the second, as said above, it's a matter of scale. The zoom scale is exponential, so at the beginning, you don't notice the difference, but far enough, the planet will start getting smaller too because you're scrolling out faster.
