I said even if I added a new pod I couldn't attach it anywhere useful. I want to attach it in the middle of the craft put it just has a spasm and wont let me.

I had a similar problem, I moved a pod and then snap to function would only let me re-attach the rest of the ship upside down and clipped through the top half. Best thing to do is pull the ship into chunks and turn them into sub assemblies. You can then redo the pod bit as a new craft and then strap on the rest after.

Thanks for the battle Daemon, Until next time.

@ Spartwo: I believe that the Black Knights are now eligible for a flag on the front page. (Unless I have misunderstood something)

I'm ready for a rematch when you are. I have heard from a reliable source that you are working on new ships.

Oh man... were you battling anyone? Would they have your ships in the persistence?

Also, someone needs to make a Kraken ship.

Well the Battle of Cannae is interesting and has reached a point where either he risks the fuel to chase me down (about half of it to get to a good firing position if you do it efficiently) or he can get close and launch his missiles from a 20km range.

Either way it was a good battle but weather I win or loose I am going to have to start agreeing on some very important rules in the future. One being the minimum and maximum firing range, or some allotted amount of time per turn so that the games are not just a tic tack toe competition. Not because of his ships but because of mine. If I fought a fleet with long ranged weapons like mine the winner would be determined by who goes first as long as we are equally skilled in maneuvering a guided missile and have the same amount of ships. I don't think that the answer is real time battles because then hitting someone with the amount of ammo each ship carries and the speed or accuracy of each projectile is highly unlikely especially with part lag.

Simply a minimum and maximum firing range would fix the issue on both sides allowing the possibility of a miss with SRB's and the chance to strike back at ships with an extra planetary weapons range. It will allow for longer more interesting battles that take more than four full turns and reduce the massive advantage of going first when both players are very experienced.

This is of course not a demand but rather a question on how people feel on the matter of making battles more challenging and give a sense of realism.

Also note that this would be an optional set of rules for more experienced players.

Your thoughts?
