Strengths of the reaction wheel system

If you have not realized, the new Inline reaction wheel system coupled with the pre-installed SAS system in probes, makes for very stable and recoverable rovers.

In fact, the reactions wheels are so strong, they are able to maintain stable and strong wheelies for rovers up to at least 20m/s without flipping.

As an added bonus, the system now gives probe bodies enough torque to literally flip itself in the air back onto it's wheels. Working in Kerbin gravity shows how powerful it is, and I'm now convinced that it should be a mandatory design feature of every rover I make.

the less rigidness of the new system means you cant walk away or play another game while your rocket does a 30 minute burn.

Learn to build a rocket?

On topic, thanks for the info - I've been working on a new rover and I'll use this. :)

Few days ago I build a unicycle. I haven't tested it in low gravity but around KSC it works reasonably well.

I'm a big supporter of the reaction wheel system. Some rockets that are absolutely huge now are a lot more stable, which saves time and fuel since I don't have to work on corrections or anything like that.
