Duna Base Mod Opinions

Okay, so, what I'm looking for are some mods to do a Constellation style mission by sending up rockets and everything, but I would like some suggestions for mods I can add to my current ones. Though I would like to refrain from resource gathering mods such as Kethane.

Mods so far:

KW Rocketry

Procedural Fairings

Mechjeb

So if you leave some suggestions as to what I could use for my landers and orbital vehicles, that would be great!

With some creative thinking you can do the Constellation style mission with mostly stock parts, Mechjeb, Kethane and some orbital assembly. I've got a program underway right now that consists of a custom built Orion, a hab module, and a propulsion module. Make sure you quick-save in Duna's orbit, I ended up getting everything there, and started to land it, messed up the landing only to find out that the save had been much earlier then I anticipated.

i think you would want the mod Orbital Construction Redux 4.1 which allows you to build stuff in orbit using rocket parts and space docks

For my Duna missions I am using...

STOCK (of course but this in mainly for the Kerbal resourse probe drops)

THSS struts and girders

HOME

Kethane to give me something to do

NUKEMod for the 1/2 meter parts on my rovers (these parts are well scaled for rovers)

TT .6 for the wheels and engines.

Extraplanetary Launches to give me more things to do
