Does anyone else find this game more rewarding than killing orcs and zombies?

Yes. Mostly because it rekindled my childhood love for spaceflight. It's also given my friend a new way for giving me the finger when I ramble about astronomy or rocketry... 3...2...1...*holding middle finger up raising it like a rocket* WE HAVE *I think you know the word* OFF!

I can spend hours upon hours a day designing a rocket that works, whereas with other games, I can only put about 3 hours in a week...across all my other games.

First landing on the Mun is one the most memorable and satisfying moments in gaming imo. Other stuff is also highly rewarding as well though (like when I made my first orbital rendezvous to rescue Jeb recently for instance) , probably because this game has such a high learning curve. Most games today do not since they're in genre's we've all played a 100 times.

Yes, KSP is much more rewarding. That is why I've already spent with it more time than with most of other games I've played to date.

UPDATE: I think that this game is so good because it actually lets you create new content rather than just consume content created by game developers.

However, this very property of KSP limits it's potential fanbase, because it is not just entertainig, it is also demanding.

Answering the thread´s title: Actually, no - it´s just that i am easy too scare and am terribly afraid of Orcs and Zombies. That´s why i cant play these games, though i´d like them a lot, i guess. I hate KSP, but there is just nothing else out there, except killing Orcs and Zombies - and thus i end up here. (Though sometimes, the kerbals remind me of orc-zombies in midget-format...)

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
