Gimbaling Engine Help

1=if by parts you mean models then yes, if you want the nozzle to move.

2=set top up like a normal engine, add thrustTransform, child the nozzle model to thrustTransform. Be aware that the nozzle model will be stuck to the thrustTransform's origin, keep this in mind before you export from your modeling software.

3=not a clue, sorry, you can use stock engine fx though, visual fx like that are also origined at the thrust transform, for both engine types.
