Hi,

I\'ve just been introduced to KSP by someone at work. Cue a particularly late night playing with different designs!

I do have one beginners question - I\'m having a lot of issues getting my rocket pointed the way I want it. I did the tutorial, and I understand about pitch/yaw etc. However, I run into problems as soon as my rocket rolls at all, because if it\'s rolled 90 degrees, what was pitch is now yaw, from my viewpoint. Is there a way to fix the camera so that the camera is absolute towards the ship?

Or am I missing something?!

All I can say is use the 'C' key for changing camera angles. There is no first person view as of yet. I just pitch east from the default view from the launchpad. And if I do move the camera with my mouse I try to remember where the original position was

Yes, as a forum moderator I like to give each new member introducing themselves a warm welcome to show that the moderators here aren\'t stuffy power-hungry twats.

Now shut up before I ban you. ;P

so I had a lot of success last night - managed to get into a stable orbit, and even to the Mun (although I crashed on return).

However. I think I\'m going to have to stop! I\'m finding it a little TOO compulsive! I was playing at work yesterday (at lunchtime, naturally), plus for the last two nights I\'ve only got 6 hours sleep cause I just couldn\'t stop playing!
