Looks real good!

I just downloaded, but haven't looked at these ingame yet. You say 3.75m from top to bottom... Is that external dimensions or inside the cargo bay? 'Cause there's a terrible shortage of spaceplane/shuttle cargo bay parts able to fit a 3.75m payload.

@White Owl: Unfortunately, that's the external dimension. When I was making it I debated a 5m version, but decided in the end to go with the 3.75m. (originally I was going to have it be 2.5m, but just decided that it was too small)

After the 0.3 update, I might consider doing something a little larger though if there is interest. Especially considering that the space shuttle would be more than 8.5m in Kerbal dimensions.

The 3.75m by the way is not including the landing gear.

I'm sorry to report the parts aren't showing up ingame for me. All I did was copy the Yarbrough08 folder into GameData, no changes.

Yeah it happend to me also. What you want to do is rename the Yarbrough08 folder into Yarbrough.

Yardbrough, you may also want to fix the folder structure in the zip as well.

One question i have is about rear gears, do you plan on making maching models to go along with the front gear? Or maybe some extension part, to make the rear attachment more fluent.

Also some adapter to go in front or back of the bay, would be nice, so we can attach the payload (unless there is already and i missed it lol)

Oh and last thing i wanted to say is that i like the design of the pack, good stuff.

I had made a small cfg edit and accidentally re-uploaded the wrong file, it should be resolved now. Sorry for the inconvenience...

@Thourion: Yes, I do plan on making matching rear gear for it. I'm just not sure yet how I want to implement it yet. 2 gears on the back half of the main fuselage in kind of too skinny (if you know what I mean? Having them that close together causes the craft to swerve all over the runway like it is trying to fall over). I'm actually debating making some side pylons similar the SR-71 and constructing landing gear for those. Since you brought it up I would like to know what the community thinks about it. As for the adapter for the cargo bay; I was planning on making it part of the docking port section. I want the docking port to be hollow so you can travel through it with a "hatch" piece on 1 side of it that could lead into a cargo bay if you have one. But I could make it completely separate if that is what everyone wants

Oh yeah, i really love what you did with the Pod Ramps concept for the EVA, so im guessing what you have in mind for the docking part will suit the model fine.

And yeah, the gears are a pain, especially when we are not talking about a "fixed" craft, since everybody makes his own config (different CoM etc etc). I believe side pylons, or some sort of wing integration would be better.

Okay, looking at it ingame now. Here are some of my first thoughts.

I love the simple but very cool looking style!

I love the engine adapter plates.

Built-in RCS in more than the cockpit is very welcome.

You have functioning solar panels in the cargo bay doors! That's perfect. A glaring omission in the shuttle cargo bay mods that have come before, including B9.

I love the engine intakes and radial fuel tanks designed to blend in with the sides of the fuselage. Very easy to make a smooth transition to pWings with these parts.

I like the simple black borders on the wing pieces. I wish the default pWings had black borders like this.

I'd very much like to see an option to start with the nosewheel retracted, since I'll be hanging a big-ass fuel tank under the belly, and that landing gear will get in the way.

You ask about the rear landing gear... Have you ever looked at Tiberion's space shuttle mod? He had an excellent solution to this problem. Landing gear that is radially attached like normal, but the part is actually buried behind the surface where it's attached, so when retracted the outside surface is smooth. Check that one out and you'll see what I mean.

Other than the aforementioned larger cargobay, one thing I'd love to see added is some kind of tapered tail. Give us a few more options in how to configure a plane.

Great mod already, and I already see how much greater it can be! :D

Could you upload a vehicle, using this mod and stock parts, that uses this pack?

Also, could you make a crew segment for this pod? I could see what looks like a fuel tank (and has liquid fuel in it), with cutouts on the sides for crew pods to be slid onto.

@Mekan1k: Did you get everything sorted out? I have triple checked the download because I've already received some negativity for uploading the wrong version, so I want to make sure everything is good to go. I do have a crew pod in mind, and will add it to my list. And yes I will add a craft file to it, no problem, but I need to get some sleep first. It is very early in the a.m. where I'm at, and I'm in desperate need of some sleep right now, lol.

@White Owl: Thanks for the awesome feedback. I have not checked out Tiberion's shuttle mod yet, but I will definitely look into it. I had not thought of the tapered tail, but will definitely add it to my list of things to do.

@MUSTANG: I will also be adding your request for Mk. II (1.25m) parts

Got a chance to fiddle with this pack in game...AWESOME!

Until the rear landing gear is made:

Alc0FLe.png

from firespiter pack, was able to take off, but kinda kills steerability.

Really enjoying this pack, looking forward to see where you take it =)

@Toyotawolf: As of right now, I am planning on 3 different types of landing gear. Landing gear in the wings is something one of them. I had stated in the OP that I was going to release more wing parts. What I am planning is sort of a "Things in the Wings" release that includes not just more wing parts, but useful parts inside of the wings (solar panels, landing gear, lights. etc..).

@Gristle: Tapered and expanded pieces is already on my todo list, but I will look into the adapters for the B9 & TT packs. Adapters are really easy to make anyway..

Don't include the hashtag or anything following it, though. That seems to force scrollbars. If you could go back and edit that out of your first post, it would make things look and work better.

Rather than:

JRupN#0

You should have:

Looking forward to it, I liked what I saw and your mod didn't crash my game, I think
