Noob reporting for duty, Sir!

Hello everyone!

I thought I would say hello. I have been playing KSP for a few months off and on. I have played with the demos for a while and got a good feel for it. I finally broke down and bought the game the other day. I was overwhelmed with how much more parts you get I about felt the same as I did when I first played the demo. I am getting a hang of it.

How is everyone else doing?

I'm sending probes with kethane sensors to Duna before I launch a mission to plant a refinery and a base there.

I have been playing for a while now. aprox 1 month. i have racked up 238 hours of game-play and i have got the hang of docking, Mun and Minmus landing, and sending probes to other planets. i just haven't been able to send a kerbal to a planet and back. Safety is the upmost importance with my Space program and i will never send a kerbal to another planet unless i know he can come back again. However i am so close to getting a rocket capable of achieving my goal.

I have not racked up as many hours. I am taking it slow. I have 2 capsules in orbit now that I am about to try and dock for the first time. As they are closing the distance to each other, I am putting my first satellite in orbit. This game amazes me how fun it is without really needing much math. I know as I progress, I will but, for now, I am just flying by the seat of my pants.

Welcome. Word of advice, ever since the .21 update, we do in fact have something to the extent of permadeath so be weary. Don't forget to go check out the awesome add-on community. There is some great stuff they've made.

I have checked out some of the add-on's. I am still a little overwhelmed at the plethora of stuff I have to work with now. When I get a little more comfortable, I will add some stuff.

Just made my first successful dock. I am drained from the stress of getting everything lines up right. It just so happened, trying to move into position, we bumped and wouldn't you know it? Straight shot in!
