How to inactivate a decoupler

Hi

My space station is linked to a big rocketry Tank via an interstage adapter 3,75m to 2,5m . This adapter is also a decoupler.

How can I inactivate this decoupler in order not to separate my SS core from the Tank by hitting "space" inadvertently?

Alt+L will lock your current stage from being triggered by the space bar. I don't think there's a way to single out a specific decoupler though.

If Alt+L doesn't float your boat, you can separate the decoupler into its own staging group (by clicking the + sign near staging groups and dragging desired item to the blank group) and move it above all other stage groups. That will give you some buffer against accidentally hitting the space bar.
