Can you zoom out in the VAB

Hi I am new to the forum and I just got the game and I am having a hard time building spaceships in the game it zooms in once I put the 1st part on and I can not figure out how to zoom out or if you even can.And also can someone give me a link on how to build a spaceship that can go to duna it can,t be a video due to me having limited internet.

As far as I know, either shift + mousewheel or the + and - signs will do this. I'm not sure about the first one though.

Yes. Shift + Mousewheel scroll. Also you can hold down the wheel (middle mouse) and move the mouse up/down.
