A question for Nerf users

I just picked up a new Rapidstrike CS-18 and I cant get the collapsible stock to extend, It seems to be stuck in place. I am considering opening it up since I have some moding experience but I figured I would ask first.

After screwing with it for a bit I decided to open it and found they put a pin through it making it locked in place with no way for the pin to move other than manually taking it out and on top of that it was friction fit in so I have to leave the back end screws loose so the stock can actually slide.... GG nerf. Anyway for those who don't have it yet it works great other than that, especially for a fly wheel design!
