I can't help it, every time a launch a ship or a probe I can't help but imagine a mission control style voice going through all the procedures and instrument checks, am I the only one? Have I lost it?

You are not the only one... I even do a countdown in my head before launching, this includes firing up the engines (at minimal thrust) for a second or two before releasing the clamps.

Though I noticed I did this less when I had chatterer installed... may have to get it again.

No Sir, you are not.. I also make checklists, checklists divided into PRE-FLIGHT, FLIGHT, SUB-ORB, ORB, PRE-LANDING, LANDING.....
