Help with decouplers

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I am having issues with decouplers, it might be more of an atheistic thing, but I had a launch where it failed, and I wonder what I might be doing wrong, picture attached for reference to what the decoupler is doing.

It might be something I am doing wrong, but in the past the decouplers went past the motor and to the fuel tank making a nice even tube all the way down. Help??

The engine shroud is a function of the engine not the decoupler. As previously mentioned, that is a 1.25m engine and a 2.5m decoupler. Use a Skipper or Poodle engine and it will be bigger. Then again, that does cause some problems. Larger engines are more fuel hungry.
