Is there a way to point a Kerbal's head down before impact ground?

Recommended Posts

In Danny2462's Kirrim on duty I saw his somehow adjust Kirrim's pitch before impact(after using the mass relay to come home)

My testing also shows that impact with head will significantly increase a Kerbal's chance of survival.

I find no keyboard control for EVA pitch. There is a option for joystick, but when I try it the jetpack also give a counter thrust to cancel my joystick pitch input and keep my Kerbal vertical (like ASAS before 0.21)

If I can do this I would need no more parachute for Eve landing as the atmosphere is already thick enough.

Currently I have to use a drop pod:

Any idea?

You can click and drag with a mouse while thier pack is activated to change thier pitch.

It is pretty fun to make your kerbals do backflips on the mun with this.:D

You mean right click to change view point?

That doesn't seem to work... my Kerbal is always verticle

BTW, your screenshot is so weird! At a glance I thought the Kerbal was smiling, but when I turn my head....oh........

I think you are strange, if you looked at Danny's video closely you would have noticed that he didn't drag the cam around, he used left click. And don't ask questions which have been answered, ere are lots of threads with the same Q&A
