Kerbal Powers Roleplay

Recommended Posts

As of today you are also Vice CEO. congratulations. :D

Saprtwo yes we are allies, would you like to share a co-op persist of Duna and Ike so we can have two bases (would make the planets much harder to take)?

Plus I have zero experience with small missiles, you would take care of lighter fighters, I do heavier weapons.

EDIT and orbital weapons platforms. I am awesome at those. :D

Thank you sir. I am honored.

I have yet to obtain Ike.I never really go beyond 200 tons. And I'll give the persist when the military ships are in position all that's really left on my part.

EDIT:

Only one ship KSS:boom town I'll add the rest at a later date.

Conquest Battles are done by Ship class not Tonnage, Prohibits 1.5t Fighter spamming.

This will not help, and is contrived, one big issue with having fighter swarms is that only one ship may be targeted at a time, going in order of class does not make a difference, as strikecraft go first...

what you want to do is either:

1. keep the macey rules, but have fighters only capable as acting on behalf of a carrier, so they will go in the carrier's turn, as if they were its weapons. (this still does not entirely fix the problem.)

2.keep the macey rules, but fleet composition is arranged by class not by weight (this could lead to some problems)

3.Do away with the macey rules on shooting, instead something like this that Ive proposed a few times in the past:

Ships under 50T can fire 15% of their mass (which is 2 SRBs for a 50T ship) in one turn at up to 2 targets.

Ships under 75T which have been classified as destroyers can fire 30% of their mass (which is 6 SRBs for a 75T ship) at up to 1 target.

Ships under 150T can fire 15% of their mass (which is 6 SRBs for a 150T ship) in one turn at up to 3 targets.

Ships over 150T can fire 10% of their mass (to discourage lag machines, maybe, I don't stick by this one...) at up to 5 targets.

Or something similar.

allowing bigger ships to blow away fighter swarms, and steering combat away from ships with one (absolutely enormous) shot and hopefully making the game more involved.

Whatever section this is in, I don't think we'll be happy with it unfortunately.

As it has been stated before, there has been rather major problems with roleplaying on the forums in the past. It became too much of a headache to manage, so we just decided to stop allowing it on here. As said before too, there is an offsite place for roleplay. I'll also thank the OP for his good will and for directing me to this thread.

That being said, since this violates the forum rules 2.2 h), I'll close this now. Have a nice day everyone :)
