brad100and8
How do I use PLF and other shells (I guess) for holding payloads attached to rockets, like in real rockets? I\'ve fried a few things but I can\'t seem to get it to connect properly. Reference attachments for examples of what I\'m talking about

Reference attachments for examples of what I\'m talking aboutSet symmetry to 4x, and place them like you would a radial decoupler. If you need more than one set, it can start to look ugly at the seams, but there isn\'t an awful lot you can do about it.The nose cone panels attach to the top of the side panels when set to 4x symmetry. Spoot Knight
That\'s for Wobbly Rockets and Silisko Edition\'s PLFs, CaptainSlug\'s PLF set and the Challenger Pack use half-piece fairings, so they use 2x symmetry.
Guest Flixxbeatz
Each PLF sets have their own ways of assembly.
brad100and8
Ah, ok, I finally found out how to do it. Thanks a lot
Tiberion
Does anyone still use the fairings from SundayPunch?I read through the old topic, but I can\'t figure out how they\'re intended to be used - are they an addon for Slug\'s set? Either that, or I lost some of the parts along the way - the sidewall doesn\'t have 2 nodes

Either that, or I lost some of the parts along the way - the sidewall doesn\'t have 2 nodesI decided to go back to these because I got tired of shooting for the moon, decided to do some circular orbits and a couple of sats. The way I did it is that I used the nose cone and then connected the other pieces to it but that didn\'t work too well because the nose none didn\'t detach properly. Spoot Knight
From the screenshots it looks like they\'re attached to the end of the fuel tanks. I\'ll have to see if that\'s exactly how they work since I haven\'t used them in a while.Edit: Ah. They behave like radial decouplers, just move them around near the end of the fuel tank you intend to attach them to until they meet with each other. Tiberion
As an FYI, I updated the Fairings in NovaPunch to work like those in Silisko Edition; the radial attaching business didn\'t work so great.
