Oh look, EA is learning something!

I bought it to try Mirror's Edge, the idea just seems so novel

I already own Sims 3, (not that DLC though, hope I can get that into my steam version)

The rest of the games I have no real interest in them but I may look at them. I'm sure I'll be bad at them but I expect to be bad at Mirror's Edge as well.

They don't support any charities I think deserve my money, and it gives publicity to the worst company in the industry. I'm just going to continue not buying those games. They didn't interest me on release, they definitely don't interest me now.

They aren't learning sh*t nor supporting charity. You are the ones supporting charity, and they are getting a tax deduction for LOL CHARITY by selling media that doesn't have any production costs, and most of the money spent on said media is blow out on marketing instead of making good games.

I just bought this, and not for playing the games on this computer. Sure, if any of the games were playable with 64MB of video RAM (Only flaw with this PC) I would play them, but I'm saving up for a better computer anyways, so I'm just ''pre-ordering'' them. Main game I wanted was Burnout anyways. Mirrors Edge, maybe. The other games I haven't really seen videos of or read reviews of, so I'll see with them.

64MB OF VIDEO RAM???? I have 2 gig!

I don't understand why the hell everybody hates EA. They are releasing lot of good games, and they are fantastic company.

The last bit is just your opinion. If you take elements from those "good games" and compare them with other games to get some perspective, then you'll see they really are crap games. We can go in-depth with this if you want.

Mostly intrusive DRM. And they seem to have learned from the flop that was SimCity.

Intrusive DRM is not the main reason at all, it is the fact that not only do they include said DRM on their games, but that now you also need Origin for running those games. And we know what origin does in the background.

On top of that, the SimCity flop was only one sand grain on a beach of flops and failures like ME3 ending, DS3 being converted in a space, PVE CoD with microtransactions and obviously their unbearable responses to said flops. All of this combined with their **** post-purchase service.

I did kinda agree with the EA employee who was like "Really, you voted us the worst company in the world, over BP with the Deep Water Horizon disaster, over Blackwater, really it's just video games, have some perspective."

That EA employee doesn't have the minimal idea of how capitalism works. He goes all "It's just videogames" yet he gets paid for saying **** to defend said videogames because he's either a marketeer or a PR guy (like maxmaps).

They were choosen the worst company because they are just blowing out money on advertising ****ty games, forcing their devs to ****ty deadlines, having an absolutely disgusting customer service, and on top of all that, they make **** games.

When viewed from a capitalist side, they are just as bad as BP or Blackwater.

If anybody has a spare steam Burnout Paradiseâ„¢ key, and dosen't want it, I'll take it. (PM me)

(or Mirrors edge if you don't want that game for an odd reason :P)

Note: I will probably buy it if nobody gives it, I'm just here for the people who bought the bundle for only a few things.

Isn't Origin a part of the DRM?

Yeah, but it's not as much as internal DRM since origin doesn't force anything on non-ea game. It IS DRM, but it is not it's main problem.

What exactly Origin does at the backround?

EA is still best company for me. (Ok,Squad is better)

Scans most of your pc and sends results to EA, this includes not only games but software and personal files.

I've never been more glad that I'm not a capitalist... I cannot imagine how those things can be equal.

What is making the difference for you -I think- is the petroleum accident. It was not a negligence, it was not terrorism. It was an accident and neither company wished for it to happen or worked for it to be like that.

EA, on the other hand, keeps pushing DLC Culture and intrusive DRM on their products on purpose and fully knowing they are doing this, while also bruteforcing their developers and marketeers to work harder than what they get paid for.

One is an accident, the other is on purpose, that makes the difference for me.

Well, looks like they just lost a potential customer. Namely, me.

Still, you can buy the $1 bundle (or any value below the average) and get the games that also have steam keys. You'll only be missing out on Dead Space 3 which isn't much really. Worst case, they'll add origin-only games next week (Every bundle gets games added after 1 week).

Dead Space

Origin keys:

Dead Space Origin Key

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box Origin Key

Medal of Honor Origin Key

Mirror's Edge Origin Key

Well,DRM and DLC are both a good thing,DRM stops game from being pirated, like SimCity. DLC is very good because if something is missing in the game that we want we can still get it throught a DLC. If you don't like DLC's,then don't buy games which have them (what big game does not?). If you cannot connect to servers because you have poor conection, then don't buy the game too,it's a REQUIREMENT like a minimal graphics card and so on. Don't buy a game with DRM if you don't have a good connection. EA cannot buy like tens and tens of servers because what if the game will not have good sales? And they'll loose their money? .EA is very good company,if Origin would do that. It would get banned in many countries. Is it? No,and EA has kept my Credit card info safer than PSN network, and I never lost any money. Origin helps me connect to game rooms of my friends, shows me when they are online and what they are playing right now and such. And even KSP scans your PC stats and sends it to Squad. Including your IP and other stats.

Who the **** would give $1 for that? That's douchebaggery, unless they have some good reason for it, especially since it's going to charity instead of EA. I'm considering throwing $50 - $100 at it, but I really don't like the idea of having to use origin if I do.
