Linear Aerospikes all around.

I was searching for real life spaceplanes on wikipedia, and found the VentureStar, and the X-33, a smaller version, both use linear aerospikes. Within hours of me doing this, I noticed that a modder has made a Linear Aerospike Mod, Scott Manley would mention it in a video, and RLA would put one into production as well. How did I set off this wierd chain reaction of Linear Aerospikes? Am I made of magicalness? Was it all a coincidence? Is someone stalking me and relaying ideas to other people? Did I post something about the Linear Aerospike and don't remember? This all happened within 3 or so days.

No, although that has happened to me before. I have never seen Linear Aerospikes mentioned on the KSP Forums before, and even checked to see references, none of the examples have happened before in recent times that I may have seen it, and none.

Or, you did see references and your brain just filtered them out because it deemed them unimportant. Your memory isn't perfect you know.

A quick search shows me linear aerospikes have been mentioned dozens of times.

It's happened to me quite often, in fact. I think the first time, I was much younger, at a school playground, and for whatever reason, the Magic Bullet story popped into my little head. As kids began to return to school, a friend asked me - I am not making this up - "Hey, did you ever hear about the Magic Bullet?"

Since then, I have noted the same phenomenon occurring several times in my life. At first I assumed I was psychic.

Nooetics. That's why almost every major invention (fire, the radio, calculus, theory of evolution of species, combustion engine, economic marginalism, chemistry of oxygen, restricted relativity, heavier-than-air flight, telephone, jet engine, etc.), ever, has been made about the same time by unrelated people, all over the world :D
