[1.1]Hullcam VDS - mod adopted by linuxgamer

I'll post a screenshot later, now I'm at the office.

I play with max render quality, 8x AA, Max texture quality. I don't think it's a graphic setting related issue though, since I've already tried switching from higher to lower settings, disabling AntiAliasing et cetera..

I'll run more specific graphic test this evening anyways, and let you know if I can find any interesting results.

My GPU is a Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 and, I forgot to tell you, I'm using the Astronomer Visual pack for EVE.

(Thank you for your support Albert, and may you forgive my perseverance but these mods put together are really another level for KSP)

Its a bit of a long shot but try toggling between fullscreen and "frameless window" and see if that changes something. You won't find that setting inside KSP, only in the "advanced" (not "graphics"!) section of the launcher settings.

I have a problem:

When i activate a camera and than swich to another one i can't get out of camera mode. Hiting backspace will only put me back at the first cam view.

I also assign a key for deactivation all cameras but no luck there... any ideas?

New release up on the front page.

V0.3 7-Jun-2014

- Fixed a bug which broke returning to the main camera when using action groups

- Added assembly info

Here it is http://pastebin.com/1qnJPLn1

and here: how to recreate it in game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H60-2ICPPHk

version 0.23.5.464

Thanks for noticing this, it's fixed in the latest release.

If you're using VS, just edit Properties/AssemblyInfo.cs

I assume monodevelop has something similar.

Alright, thanks. I've added it in the new release.

  • 2 weeks later...
I had to uninstall this mod unfortunately. It gave a very strange flickering bug to all planets/moons an just made it unplayable.
Are you using the EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements mod?

Ah there is the flickering coming from?

The flickering disappears after loading the game again, btw.

Two things:

1, There was talk about the launchpad camera being controllable/following the active vessel/whatever.. any updates or news on that?

2, I'd like to request a part, if I may - a forward facing aerodynamic camera. Something I can stick on the bottom of my space planes that's the right way up - the two-way booster cam ends up upside down and the Aero-180 is aerodynamic in the wrong direction (pointing towards the tail instead of the nose). Some housing similar to the Wolf Aerospace separtrons would do fine.

EDIT: If a new part isn't doable, then I'm perfectly happy changing the configs to make what I want. I'm guessing I'd have to change "cameraUp = 1, 0, 0" to something else, but which one? Anything else need changing?

Me again ;).

Question about the booster cam which I really like to check my staging AND the fairings with only one camera. It doesn't seem to be possible to have both camera eyes register/show up in a RasterPropMonitor / ProbeControlRoom monitor? I can get one camera picture, but not both as camera 1 and 2, for example.

@ObsessedWithKSP:

1 It's still in the works. :)

2 How about a rotateable view?

@Deadpangod3: Not yet.

@MrOnak: I'll see if it's possible now in RPM to have more than 1 JSISteerableCamera module in a part.

It should, as SP+ does have multiple on the main cockpit.
