Help with Energia 1st stage decoupling

Hi all,

I am working on building the Buran Shuttle and am using the Energia launch system. My question is what do I use to decouple the 1st from the 2nd stages...I have tried regular decouplers, mechanical decouplers everything I have and nothing seems to work. I am ending up carrying the 1st and 2nd stages to orbit and having no fuel left over for orbital maneuvers.

Pictures of your craft would help. There's plenty of different ways to use decouplers. I hope you're aware that you have to press spacebar to activate the decouplers in the correct staging order?

I try to mount stage 1 to the decoupler and it would fit or the stage falls off on the launch pad. let me figure out how to post a pic. brb

Sounds like your staging it wrong to me. If your use to building rockets from the bottom up and the staging just worked in the correct order. Then you go to a rocket next to a rocket you have to play with the staging order because the game can't figure it out all on it's own.
