Need Help with Mechjeb, Phase angles.

Recommended Posts

ahh sorry i misunderstood what you wanted, in the scott manley vid is the old mechjeb, assuming you are using the one for .21 the phase angle screen i'snt there anymore (as far as i can find anyway). Target the planet when you are on the launchpad and on the maneuver planner click transfer to planet this will set a node up showing you how long you need to warp till you get an intercept angle, launch just before and your be there or there a bouts, i think there may be a way todo it on the ascent but never bothered to work it out.

I Replied to your other thread.

As I said there Karmacoma is correct that the Phase angles screen is not in the new mechjeb. Instead you have to add that info to a custom info window.

There are two ways to do it. one is to use "target planet phase angle" from the target options, this will show you the phase angle between the planet you are currently orbiting and any planet you set as a target.

The other way is "all planet phase angles" which will show a list the phase angles between the planet you are orbiting and all the others.

ahh thats where its hiding! thanks for that, more info to clutter up my screen with :D think i'm going to have to actually make 1 custom window tab with all the info i need in it instead of having loads open.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
