combining 2 designs

Hi, I'm new at this "game" and i'm playing a bit around in the designer. I have build my first rocket. And now was designing my first lander. Now i'm wondering is there a way to separately build your lander and your launcher and then load them both up in the editor to combine them?

Not in the stock version of the game (it's being worked on and potentially deployed with the next version/patch).

I know of one mod at least, go to spaceport and look up Subassembly Manager (searching for Subassembly may be enough).

Subassembly Manager is a required mod, IMO. You'll also find SelectRoot helpful.
