Getting mods to work in Windows 8

I'm fairly well versed in all things PC, a little less with Windows 8. I have found several mods I would really like to include in the ways I cna get things done nicely (Or fail miserably!) with all the extra cool new bells & whistles to take away excuses. People have worked so hard and given of their time to make some great looking mods...I only hope there is a method I cna take advantage of them despite the Windows 8 platform.

What exactly is the problem? Have you tried installing them as described on their various download pages?

On Windows 8 here - havent seen a single mod failing due to it...

You install mods on windows 8 the same way you do on 7 or vista, or any other platform. Just put them in the right folders.

If KSP runs on Windows 8, why wouldn't the mods work?
