Hey Zodiak,

All new member of the forum are automatically moderated for a certain period of time (to avoid spam).

During that time you will not be able to set avatar/signature.

Once you are clear, you will be able to do so.

And welcome to the forum.

Look for the settings button! Everything should be there, if you have been here long enough now.

I believe that changes with the number of posts you make, and can also probably be altered by a moderator.

You need to have a certain number of posts first. I believe 10 is that number. Hence why i haven't got an avatar yet nor signature.

yuriski... you have both an avatar and a desc that says "curious George", but you only have 3 posts

what I want to know is how to make my desc. say "curious george" or likewise

It is an option on your profile. Go to Forum Actions - Edit Profile. There should be a thing that says 'Custom User Title'.
