Minmus: TWR and dv to orbit?

Recommended Posts

How much i must have dv to go to orbit?

How big Thrust to Weight ratio must have my rocket to take off?

There is no such information on wiki.

I plan to convert from kethane and lift 150 tons of rocket parts to orbit and make ships out of it.

I don't think you looked very hard:

Roughly 920m/s to transfer from Kerbin orbit, 80m/s for orbit insertion, 240m/s to land. Then 240m/s to take off into Minmus orbit, not much to break orbit and head back to Kerbin though.

Minmus has very low gravity so you don't need much thrust to take off again, TWR vs Minmus gravity needs to be above 1, you'd have to do the math or use engineer redux (or mechjeb) for the numbers.
