Does this count as robotics? and is there anyway to paint stuff green?

I started over and wanted to go to Mun again. Somehow I ended up merging my lander and rover into one. Now it looks cute and I want to paint it green, anyone know how?

Can't in stock version, you'd either need a mod or to create alternate textures for all those parts. Not sure if there's any mod that'd let you do that, maybe that universe editor thingie, can't remember its real name.

Yeah, i'm afraid i dont know how to repaint just that craft - making it from retextured parts would be the obvious conclusion.

Well, you could paint it green after changing the parts' textures, if that is what you want... It would require launching it, finding it in the quicksave/persistence, creating a copy of each part it uses(like if it uses dockingPort2, make another part and name it for example dockingPort2_2), changing the name of every single part it is made of in the persistence/quicksave to the name of your copied parts, and then, finally, editing the textures used by copies to make them green. Maybe there is some other easier way, but this is the only one that comes to my mind. By the way, cool thing

I know there was a decal mod in 18.4. You could try using green rectangular decals and cover the thing with it. Similarly, you could try the universe replacer mod. I haven't used it, but from seeing screenshots of Kerbs with different textures, you may be able to paint it that way.

I love this little bot! I don't know of a way to paint it either... if I knew how to make mods I would already have made a mod for painting things, but unfortunately I don't... I have to agree that the best way to make it green would be to edit the textures. Good luck!

You would have to make your own textures in order to change the appearance.
