New Satellite launch from nasa

I saw it! It was awesome! It climbed up out of the south, leaving a bright orange flame behind, arcing up and "leveling off" as it passed to my southeast and started to dim. I thought it might be getting far off that fast, but nope, it was just the first stage burning out. It jettisoned and the second stage lit up bright and the velocity really picked up as it flew to the northeast and back down toward the horizon. It started dimming out and I thought I might get to see the third stage light up (this rocket has FIVE stages) but it dipped behind the trees first.

I only saw I for a couple minutes due to the mountains blocking my view. However that was the first launch I have ever seen not through a screen, so I am exceptionally pleased.

Man that sucks, But yeah its amazing that there launching from virginia. my first time too.

Man I wish I could be on that rocket, But I wouldn't like nasa saying there going to smash me into the moon..

OMG I SAW IT, It was very bright, I live in nj and saw it :D

Same here. Did you hear it as well? I'm in Berlin, Nj. It blew me away I thought I wasn't going to be able to see it. The viewing chart it has said it'd only reach 15 degrees into the sky. Bunch of crap lol. Could not have been better.

Using Nova Punch mods, I decided to fabricate the NASA solid fuel rocket with two stage liquid upper engines. Came up with this design. The thruster pack finished placing it in low Mun orbit. That big solid rocket first stage is a bit hard to control but the rest of the design flew flawlessly.

Kerbal Space Program is now searching for the strange dust glow with the Thor probe.
