Try lowering your graphic settings, it might help.

Also I don't think that upgrading the RAM would help, the game limit is 4GB. (From what I remember).

you should try to upgrade your graphics card. Due to the game's architecture, it can't even use 4GB of ram if it had to.

Its probably your proccessor since I think your on a laptop, I don't know if you can upgrade.

Upgrading the ram, to 6 or 8gb should help a little. The game can't use more than 4gb but with windows using some having extra couldn't hurt. But the game is general cpu limited. Not ram limited.

Is this your laptop? If it is then it could easily just be the part count causing you to have issues with lag. Don't feel bad about it, we all have this issue.

Also, if you have the time and patience, I would actually recommend building your own computer. You save money and get to customize the computer to have it the way YOU want it. If you are interested, there are plenty of videos on youtube that have a detailed description of how to build computers.
