Space Art....

Just dumping my attempts at Space Art here. This thread is going to serve as a "record-keeper" for me, to track how my skills will eventually improve over time as I use new programs and gain more experience. But, for now, I'll just upload one simple picture-my first attempt at making online art that is purely dedicated to space.....

"New Destination," "Sunrise on Duna," and "Exploring the ring" all have pretty pixelated images. Don't see them? Notice the jagged edges on Jool.

No, no , no, that's not what I mean't. I was asking if you had a good image that I could use.

After all, the program I use is MS Paint, and it has big limitations

By the way, the ship in "Arrival" is the second stage of the Project Dadelus interstellar probe.

But on "Arrival", the light is arriving on the other side of the side, than what it sould be, given the position of the sun in the background.

You probably can't see it, but I had placed a light over there

It's not that impressive. He just pasted an image of a KSP spacecraft onto a picture from Google. They're ok. But they're nothing special.

I would suggest you check out GIMP . It is a free open source image manipulation program, compares to photoshop for usefulness and well support by the community that uses and makes it.
