Piper! The famous Wingless plane!

One wise man on the forum said: "if you want your airplane to fly, you can take off even without enough lift if you have

sufficient power!"

Now that has been proven, I present to you, the Piper!, the Wingless plane!

This versatile airplane has many advantages over traditional winged aircraft.

It can:

Quickly change its direction.

Cannot stall.

Take off horizontally.

Do cool stunts!

INSTRUCTIONS:

How to Air:

1.Activate engines.

2.Activate ASAS and fine-tuned controls.

3. Throttle up to 100%, as soon as velocity reaches 80m/s pitch up, the thing

might roll about 35 degrees but that can be easily corrected.

How to Ground:

1.Deploy parachutes over landing spot and turn off engines.

2. After landing, EVA your pilot and repack the chutes.

There is only the pod and one set of reaction wheels.

That's it, since no wings are in the way it turns as good as a small rocket.

The main reason it can take off quite easily is that the landing gear are placed quite well and the engines have gimballing.

I put 21 reaction wheels on a 3-engined plane recently. It was hilarious. Is this one fast?

Yes it flies like a demon, you can see the aerodynamic effects in the last pic, speeds up to around 300m/s at 5000 meters.
