Career Mode ?

Any rumours on when KSP will have the Career mode option ?

We will get it in parts. Actually Astronaut Complex is pretty careerish in my opinion.

Yes, but they all fit in the same category. Otherwise, one would also need to point out that they are accessed differently from the menu (one by selecting the 'career' mode and one by 'sandbox')

I have no idea what those guys are arguing about now...

Career Mode will be in Update .22. This has been known for about a month.

So far, nothing we've added has required us to break compatiblity with previous saves. That said, there's never any guarantee that it won't happen. We do try to avoid it as much as possible though.

Keep in mind though, that even if saves do remain compatible in 0.22, the R&D features won't be available in sandbox games. You'll have to start a new Career game to have a tech tree and actually do science. In sandbox mode, the experiment modules don't do much.
